What do we do on Snow Days? Have Fun of Course!

Yes we bundle up and head out to enjoy the winter wonderland.
Mommy even gets in on the fun. We build forts, have snowball
fights, sled and make snow angels. Than after our great snowy
adventure is over we rush in to rich & creamy hot chocolate (with
marshmallows) to warm our frozen bodies.
What do you do on a snow day?

I cannot wait to do this! Right now, we watch it from inside the warm comfort of our home! I was hoping that Dawson and Brady would be able to go out in it this afternoon, but now with the rain, I am not sure what it will be like! Yesterday, Dawson got home really late b/c of the traffic he had to deal with on the drive home! Looks like you had a blast! :)

Yesterday, I bundled Princess and the Little Guy up. Princess "shobeled". I held Little Guy (he wasn't happy in the stroller). I think he wanted to get down in the snow, but I told him that he is still too young.

Ten minutes later, Princess was crying because it was too cold. So we went back inside.

We did this twice.

I can't wait until they are older.

This is what we would normally be doing...bummer about being ill!

Although Barber is not hip to the 'specialness' of hot chocolate. He would probably stick to his milk. :)

All our snow (all 1 1/2 inches of it!) has turned to slush with the incessant, heavy downpour of rain all day. Our sump pump is going nuts and the sound of trickling water all over the house makes me have to pee! Ugh.

That's one thing that we all miss since we moved Eastward - the REAL snowfalls. Grrrr - I want one really big blizzard that shuts all of the area down so we can pop popcorn, watch movies, drink hot chocolate and hang out together.

I don't go out unless I have to once it starts snowing, but inside? I bake, make up new recipes and cook a few meals ahead for the freezer. And I blog :)
